Sun Chart

It is December!

 

Time to another sun study.

 

This will take about 5 minutes but must be done throughout the day.

 

Have your child look out the window at the times on their chart.  If it is light outside, they can draw a sun or write "Yes" in the box next to that time.  (It doesn't have to be sunny--just not dark like nighttime. Foggy and rainy still count as light outside.  We are looking for differences between night and day!)

If it is dark outside (like night time), they can leave the box blank or write "No."

Easy Peasy.

​

This will help us collect data for our year long study of how daylight changes throughout the year.
